What is blockchain?

In my conversation with few who gave their honest opinion about blockchain, I can say there are controversy and excitement in the hearts of many who think of cryptocurrency (blockchain) is an avenue for getting rich or a get rich scheme.

Profitable 🤑 and currently the new boy at school (hot 🔥 and sexy). Cryptocurrencies are what make the next technology so ground-breaking.

At the heart of cryptocurrency lies the concept of blockchain, which is thought of literal, meaning chains in blocks together, one after the other, with each block holding information whether transactions, smart contracts, & data structure, or anything recordable in an immutable way.

While revolutionary, the concept is pretty simple; It is just a linked list data structure. And developing your own blockchain is not limited to just one language, think about it, Javascript? Python? PHP? C++? Go? the list is exhausting, whatever the language you can think of.

There are already a lot of tutorials on how to build blockchains in several languages, https://github.com/knowledgearcdotorg/phpblockchain and many more.

Do you want to know a secret? (looks left and right… ) 😈 Blockchain cannot be altered, and your fear of politicians always having the power to alter things to match their evil agenda’s — guess what…

Blockchain Chambers

Future of PHP developments on Blockchain includes;
1. Transactions
2. Wallets
3. Distributed architecture
4. Consensus

In my next article, I’ll most likely talk about how far Blockchain has come from 2011 and what we should expect in years to come. Be sure clap till you pass out, and leave a comment if you may, one love ❤️
